Before contacting support

  • Reload the Google Sheets tab or reopen the popup.
  • Confirm the active tab is a Google Sheets URL.
  • Try a smaller range if the copied image is too large.
  • Check extension and clipboard permissions in your browser.
  • For local files, confirm the file is XLSX or CSV and the range is entered.

Support request template

  • Browser and version
  • Operating system
  • SnapSheet extension version
  • Source type: Google Sheets, XLSX, or CSV
  • Cell range, for example B2:H20
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Error message, if one appears

Troubleshooting by scenario

Google Sheets does not connect

Use SnapSheet on a tab whose URL starts with docs.google.com/spreadsheets. Reload the tab after installing or updating the extension.

Clipboard copy fails

Check browser clipboard permissions, then click the copy button again while the popup is open.

XLSX or CSV does not load

Choose a supported file, confirm the sheet or CSV content is readable, and enter both start and end cells.

The image is too large

Large ranges can hit browser image limits. Split the table into smaller ranges and copy them separately.

Privacy when asking for help

Please remove or mask confidential spreadsheet values before sending screenshots or sample files. Only include data you are comfortable sharing by email.
